Report card time!

I just updated the dates and printed off report cards to fill in for the school year. Tomorrow is our last day of school. Most of my kids have finished most of their work. Therefore, most of my gradebook is complete and I can start filling in the report cards for this year! Although I could type the info into the card before printing, these are more of a keepsake for us than an official form, so I prefer to hand-write them.

The report card template I use is the same one that I offer for FREE in my TPT store here. Print on cardstock, flip on short edge.

The student’s name and grade go on the cover.

The first inside page is for listing subjects, semester and final grades, and attendance.

The inside second page is for listing literature read and electives for each semester.

The back cover is for listing extra-curricular activities and additional notes. I usually add notes about how the student improved over the year and important recognitions, such as awards received.

I usually hand out the report cards on the last day of school. It is a great way to wrap up the school year and celebrate hard work and achievements.

Best wishes for a happy end to your homeschool year!
