All year, I have been creating biology resources that aimed to be fun and solidify biology concepts for high school students, such as building bacteria models out of pastry, using candy to learn symmetry, or cards games to sort characteristics of vertebrate animals.
I still have two more units to complete, but I went ahead and released a HUGE freebie this week that organizes all of the those amazing resources into one year-long biology course!
Get it here: FREE Complete Biology Curriculum Lesson Plan Homeschool High School Schedule
The full year of plans includes a daily schedule with links to free online text readings, videos, and interactive activities. The plan also schedules in the biology resources from my store, which are available as individual purchases or as discounted bundles. As a whole, it can be used as a full year biology curriculum, customized for student interest, or pieced out to supplement another curriculum already in use. Here are the units included:
Biology Unit
Unit 1: Into to Biology
Unit 2: Cells
Unit 3: Genetics
Unit 4: Molecular Biology
Unit 5: Evolution
Unit 6: Ecology
Unit 7: Prokaryotes & Viruses
Unit 8: Protists & Fungi
Unit 9: Plants
Unit 10: Animals: Invertebrates
Unit 11: Animals: Vertebrates
Unit 12: Human Body
This free, comprehensive biology course plan is over 30 pages long and includes hundreds of links to resources, mostly free. As an added bonus, the crossword puzzles and unit exam, normally only included in the unit bundles, are included for Unit 12 Human Body for a limited time!
