Can you believe it is almost 2026? The holiday break is flying by too quickly! Our first day of the spring semester will be here soon, so my task today is to make sure Google Classroom is set up and ready to go when we start classes. I may be sitting here in holiday mode, still in pj’s and slippers halfway through the morning, but I am a firm believer in the old saying, “A failure to plan is a plan for failure”. Who would want to set themselves or their students up for failure because they did want to take a few minutes to review their academic year end goals and what they need to do to get there?
If this year has been a struggle in the planning department, I recently updated the editable, printable planner in my store. I created this planner for homeschool use, however the weekly and monthly planner pages could work for anyone in any setting: education, business, or personal. The planner pages are undated and editable in MS PowerPoint or Google Slides, so they are customizable year after year. Forms especially for homeschoolers include a gradebook form, attendance tracker, reading log, curriculum planner, year-at-a-glance planner, and pages for recording field trips and extracurricular activities.

All you need is a binder and a few dividers to set up your customized planner for 2026. I personally like dividers with pockets like these Avery Pocket Dividers. The weekly and monthly planner pages are undated to be used multiple years, and the dates can be added in the PowerPoint page before printing or added afterwards by hand. I like to handwrite in the months and dates with colored pens myself. These pages are easy to customize!
Wishing you fun while planning 2026 and a very Happy New Year!
