I created a little “Back to School” packet for homeschoolers and it is FREE in my TPT store here!
It has two different “First Day of School” forms, one with space for a 4×6″ photo and one without. The form has a place for the student to write grade, name & age, favorite things, etc. We make something like this each year with a first-day photo and then use the pages as binder covers. They make excellent keep sakes, and are fun to make on the first day.
I also created a block schedule page with six time blocks. There is a place to either write the time period or block number and then a place to write in the subject or activity (math with mom, lunch break, independent work, etc.).
Lastly, for older students who work more independently, I made an assignments page with six blocks. There are two versions of this page, one with four of the blocks labeled with core subjects and two blanks, and the other version has six blank boxes. Either the parent or the students can write in their assignments for the day and then let the student mark off each box when the work is completed. The blocks are large enough that several assignments could be written in the box, such as for the week, for students who are great at managing time and working independently.
